synopsis

Fireflies in the Garden is a searing family drama featuring an all-star cast including Julia Roberts, Ryan Reynolds, Willem Dafoe, Emily Watson, Carrie-Anne Moss, Shannon Lucio, Ioan Gruffudd and Hayden Panettiere. Michael Taylor (Ryan Reynolds) returns to his hometown to attend a family celebration only to be faced with the sudden and tragic death of his mother (Julia Roberts). Whilst mourning his mother's death, Michael is forced to deal with past conflicts with his father (Willem Dafoe); is reunited with his childhood co-conspirator and Aunt, Jane (Emily Watson) and forges a new and closer relationship with his estranged wife (Carrie-Anne Moss).
